GREEN BEANIE

The crisp in the air, the fuzzy socks, the beanie and the denim shirt certainly sounds like the recipe of comfort to me. The only bad thing in the season is probably my freezing hands but that just leads to more layers of clothing which is always appealing to me. For the past years, I had always thought of myself as a summer lover but I guess that is not the case anymore. Time to put the mini skirts and tank tops into the back of my closet and reach out for the knits and pants. Until next time. xx

MIDI LOVE

My life got pretty overwhelming while I was gone. I guess it's normal for people to occasionally doubt their existence and passion as there is no escape to people constantly criticizing and judging. Nevertheless, I still enjoy what I am doing and this is what really matters.

The midi skirt has been my favorite since the day I got it and finally, I got the chance to shoot myself in it despite my hectic schedule. Thanks to my "professional photographer". :P

DENIM FOR FALL

Is it just me or the temperature has really cooled down a little bit in the past few days? I guess it's because of the rain but I just cannot stop thinking about fall.

"Tans fade, highlights go dark and we all get sick of sand in our shoes. But the end of summer is the beginning of a new season."

The approaching of the new school year somehow reminds me of this quote from Gossip Girl. Maybe summer is only beautiful because it slips through our fingers so easily and so quietly. We want to catch it and hold it but we can't. All we can do is to savour the moment and perhaps, enjoy it a little bit longer. Sadly, I have loads of summer assignments to deal with but I'll try to make the best of the last week of summer. (at least for me)  How about you? How's your summer going? xx

STAR FERRY

(I know it's so random and weird but I somehow like this photo a lot.)

(My wing eyeliner kinda failed that day.)

(Me being out of focus again. lol)

Hey lovelies! Today, I am bringing you the second part of my last post (kinda) as I travelled to Tsim Sha Tsui for cupcakes again by star ferry after the exhibition. It was such a fun experience for me as I seldom take the ferry.  Too bad that summer break is kind of over for me as there are tons of supplementary classes in August  or I will go out more often for delicious food and nice spots for shooting. Sorry for rambling about school everytime I write a blog post but as we all know, that can be very annoying and overwhelming sometimes.

Back to the casual outfit that I wore, I spiced it up with some white chunky heels that I adore and recently got from Topshop. I love how the t-shirt has a pop of blue as it somehow matched the weather that day and made the outfit more summer-appropriate with a little bit of color. I hope you enjoy this post as much as I do. xx

PRINTS & COLORS

Summer break has been great so far as  I finally have time to catch up on some reading, be that blogs, magazines or an actual book. Flowy shorts are my go-to bottoms right now because of its high ability to combat the subtropical heat. Really wish I could go on a vacation to refresh my soul right now but sadly I can't. The worst thing is that my schedule is packed with overloading supplementary classes in August which means practically, I have to go back to school in August. Anyway, I will probably take a few self-assigned day-offs then. (DON'T TELL THE TEACHERS!)  xx

p.s. the backpack is my newest obsession too!

CASUAL SUNDAY

Good news : I tried to make use of the beautiful weather today to do some shoots with da bro. I suddenly realize that my style has changed a bit from last summer as I tend to experiment different prints in one outfit now instead of  trying out different color combo and wearing just florals if I was going for prints. Stripes and daisies, two typical summer prints, go perfectly together to spice up a casual outfit. I minimize the amount of accessories to a siver necklace and some hair ties around my wrist. (which are very practical too!) Also, french braid is my go-to hairstyle for this summer so this posts basically sums up my style recently! What do you think? Tell me in the comments. I'd love to hear!  xx

FESTIVITY

Hey there beautiful people! Even though finals are over and thanks god the results are okay, I still have a project to slay. Despite my current semi-hectic life, I'm all about the holiday mood and can't help but start making plans for summer.  I realize that I tend to wear a lot of white in the summer and adding a pop of color just makes the whole outfit more interesting. I guess black is not the best idea in the suffocating heat. Another thing that I want to mention is the clutch that I'm holding in the photos. Huge thanks to my BFF Chloe for making this for me and I'm hooked!

KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID

The good news is that I survived exam and finally get back to my blog. I just somehow cannot believe that I haven't blogged for three week straight and now I kinda forget how to. Pinky promise that I will post as frequently as I can in the summer and I hope you all enjoy this simple outfit as much as I do.  xx
